CAKE SMASH SESSIONS IN SYDNEY
I love it and Sydney parents and babies who choose to have their cake smash session with me love it too!
I have a number of themes to choose from and today I am going to show the absolute favourite for the boys - balloons and stars.
The colours of this cake smash set up are superb!
Many parents not so sure what to expect during their baby cake smash session, so let me explain.
What to expect during your cake smash session
Cake Smash sessions last about 90 minutes. You are welcome to bring one or two outfits for your baby. The first few minutes is comprised of milestone pictures, in which we capture the personality of your little one. Once we bring in the cake, the photo session takes approximately 15 minutes. We let your baby set the pace, as some littles ones dig right in and destroy the cake, and others need a little bit of encouragement and sometimes even help to get into their cake. Be ready to get your hands dirty and help your little one get past all that frosting to the cake underneath!
Once the baby had enough cake we will finish the session with a nice and warm bath. Absolutely every baby I met love this part the most. So far it has been absolute “smile proof” part of the photoshoot. Lots of splashes and total fun for everyone! Once I have taken my photos you can wash your little one off, and they will almost always need another bath when they get home as they will still be a bit greasy from the cake icing.
